This is Thanatos the God of Death's story and the lost daughter of Hades Calindria. This is one series you need to read in order. Calindria's back story begins in Ares, slowly leaks into each story after until we get to Thanatos. My heart breaks for Calindria.Thanatos starts were Keras ended, God of Death Thanatos has been giving the most important assignment from Hades to find his daughter's soul and bring her home. Thanatos will have his work cut out for him because Calindria is more than just a soul she is powerful beautiful Goddess who has been caged for centuries. Calindria has been held caprive, she has been told lies and she seeks revenge. God of Death has come to bring her home but they will go on an adventure of truth, love and strength. They discover they are very similar both have demons they need to put to rest and to learn to trust eachother. I loved the vulnerability in these two characters as well as their strength and the drive to over come their faults. Heaton has written a beautiful love story filled with tears, laughter, angst and ahhs. I have always loved Greek Mythology and I am enjoying Heaton's spin on King and Queen of the Underworld.
